FabRIC is a flexible and jumperless breadboard used for wearable prototyping purposes.
We made a physical breadboard programmed with a MTx IC and connected to the software so that each individual holes of the breadboard is controlled by the software. We can simulate wires on the software to connect physical wires on the breadboard using a 16x8 switchpoint array.
The breadboard was made flexible by APS112 team where we, as clients, could get students' help as a part of an engineering design course to work on the breadboard. Our fabulous team ended up providing us 3 prototypes with in-depth research and consideration of multiple factors.
