Citadel Women's Datathon Miami 2025

One of the 80 students selected out of 1500+ students to participate in Citadel's Women's Datathon in a fully funded trip to Miami. We had to come up with solutions for "housing market prediction" using data given by them and external data and present within 7.5 hours. Working in a team of 4, my team analysed Gentrification and its relationship to the housing market, focusing on racial constitution of a population. We cleaned the data in R, performed analysis, and made a regression model in Python and successfully submitted a compelling document supporting our claims all within the few hours.
